Eaglemoss STAR TREK Antares NCC-501 Starship Die-Cast Model (Issue #63)

The classic episode 'Charlie X' opens with the SS Antares delivering Charlie Evans to the Enterprise. We only got to see the Antares when the series was remastered in HD with new effects. The design was a CG version of a freighter that was made for the Animated Series, and made appearances in other remastered episodes such as 'Court Martial' and 'The Ultimate Computer'. The model is 3.5" (9 cm) long.

Features

  • Presenting the incredible Antares NCC-501 starship model, an ageing transport vessel from the 23rd century part of the Star Trek The Official Starship Collection.
  • The ship was a multi-purpose starship in service with Starfleet in the 2260s, commanded by Captain Ramart.
  • In 2266, the Antares rendezvoused with the USS Enterprise NCC-1701 to pick up the 17-year-old Charlie Evans and take him to Earth Colony Alpha V, as told in the original series episode 'Charlie X'.
