Set in 1935 London, Mary Poppins Returns takes place 25 years after the events of the original film, as the magical nanny returns to help the Banks siblings and Michael’s children following a family tragedy. The film is due to be released in December 2018, a staggering 54 years after the release of 1964's Mary Poppins.
